Evington is a new home community of 147 single-family lots located along Highway 905 in Longs, SC roughly 8 miles north of Myrtle Beach.

The approximate 86.4-acre parcel where the new home community of Evington will be developed sits on the South Carolina side where South Carolina meets North Carolina.

Preliminary plans are indicating that development of the new home community of Evington in Longs will be completed in two phases.  The first phase of development in Evington is tentatively showing 73 single family homes on the northeast side of the community along the SC/NC border.  The remaining 74 single family homes in Evington are being planned for the southwest portion of this community.

Stormwater permits were obtained for Evington back in August of 2025, allowing the developer to manage how the stormwater (rain and runoff) would be collected, treated and discharged from the site – especially after construction.

RS Parker currently owns the property and is the developer.  RS Parker is a family-owned business headquartered in Myrtle Beach, SC that transitioned from residential home builder to residential developer back in 2018.

As of October of 2025, no builder has yet to be named and timing for development of the new home community of Evington in Longs has not yet been announced.
