Carrington Woods is a new home community in Longs, SC that is coming soon! Carrington Woods will be nestled between Highway 9 and Sun Colony Boulevard and will neighbor the Sun Colony community. Palmetto Greens, Colonial Place, Cloverleaf, The Retreat and the Lakes @ Plantation Pines are some of the other communities close to where Carrington Woods will be developed. Carrington Woods is conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 31 and Highway 17, simplifying the commute all around the Grand Strand.
Carrington Woods will be developed on a 24 acre piece of land in Longs, SC. As of July 2024, preliminary insight into Carrington Woods via Horry County Land records shows that the community is being platted for 90 single family homes.
D. R. Horton will be the builder in Carrington Woods. D. R. Horton purchased this property in April of 2024. D. R. Horton has been the largest homebuilder by volume in the US for several years and is very active in the Myrtle Beach area, with over 30 ongoing development projects in the area.
D. R. Horton has not yet announced their specific plans for development in Carrington Woods.
