Horry County provided approval for the development of 289 single family units in the new home community of Valley Ridge. Lennar will be the builder in Valley Ridge.
This new home community of Valley Ridge is located just off of Highway 9 in Longs and will reside on over 82 acres of land. Simple access to Highway 9 makes this an easy commute to all of the Grand Strand activities and beaches. Valley Ridge will be neighbors with another subdivision currently under construction by Chesapeake Homes - the Willows. Across Hoghway 9 from Valley Ridge is the new home community of the Tides of Little Creek by Beverly Homes.
In May of 2024, Lennar purchased approximately 80 acres of land owned by the Vaught family off of Route 9 in Longs, SC. Lennar is well committed to building in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas of Myrtle Beach.
