Horry County has provided approval for the development of 289 single family units in this Longs new home community - the approval coming under the subdivision name of "Vaught Pegram" - which will not necessarily be the name of this new home community. This new home community is located just off of Route 9 in Longs and will reside on over 82 acres of land. Simple access to Route 9 makes this an easy commute to all of the Grand Strand activities and beaches. Vaught Pegram will be neighbors with another future subdivision - Calabay Park which itself will over 400 single family units and 230 multi family units developed.
In May of 2024, Lennar purchased approximately 80 acres of land owned by the Vaught family off of Route 9 in Longs, SC. Lennar is well committed to building in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas of Myrtle Beach.
